Keyboard shortcuts

Press ? anywhere in the app to see the list for whatever view you're in. You can change the letter keys in Settings; arrows, Enter and Esc stay fixed.

Facts and prices checked 28 September 2026

We build this page from the same shortcut list the app reads, so it always matches the help dialog. The one difference is that if you've changed a key in Settings, the dialog shows your key and this page shows the default.

A few shortcuts only exist in one layout, and we've marked those Minimal or List.

Questions

Asked often enough to answer here.

How do I see the shortcuts inside the app?

Press ? on any screen. The dialog lists the shortcuts for the layout you're using, with your own keys if you've changed any.

Can I change the keys?

Yes. Settings has a shortcuts section where you can rebind any letter key, and it warns you if a new key clashes with one already in use. Arrow keys, Enter, Esc, Tab and Backspace can't be changed.

What does E do now?

E marks a thread Done. It files it under MorningZero/Done at your provider, and archives it there too if you chose that at setup. N marks it Not for me.

Do the shortcuts work on the desktop app and on Android?

On the desktop app, yes, and they work identically there. Android has a touch interface instead.
